I had been looking for a long time to take an AI course, as AI is becoming very important nowadays, and this Applied AI course was a great choice. The lessons are clear, practical, and easy to follow, even without a technical background.

I liked that the course is fully online and accessible anytime. The platform is user-friendly, and it’s great that certificates are provided after each part. This makes it easy to learn at your own pace.

Thanks to IEC for providing each participant with the opportunity to take the Applied AI course for free. It’s a educational public-spirited initiative. I really enjoyed it! As someone just getting into this stuff, it was super cool to try out tools like Leonardo AI and Krea AI for making images—they’re way more powerful than I expected and pretty easy to use. The video tools like Sora, Runway, Kling, Lumalabs, and Pika were also really impressive. It’s unbelievable how you can create full-on videos or animations with just a few clicks. And here are some tips: When you are using these AI tools, you need to be careful to write the prompts as complete and detailed as possible, just as detailed as when describing something to a blind man that he has never seen before, for the AI to accurately generate what you have in mind. If you are generating a detailed image, it is better to describe it clearly at once, if you communicate with the AI by constantly adding explanations, it will cause the AI to forget the previous requirements, that is to say, his memory may not be good!

Volunteering in Cape Town was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. From working with children to exploring breathtaking landscapes, every moment was special. The culture here is rich, the people are warm, and even the language barrier couldn’t stop the connections I made. If you want a truly immersive experience, this is the program for you. Teaching in China has been an eye-opening experience! The workdays are long, the schools are different from back home, and the food—well, let’s just say it’s an adventure of its own. But the students are amazing, the cultural exchange is fascinating, and life here is never boring. I might not have mastered Chinese yet, but I’ve mastered the art of improvisation in the classroom. To future teachers: be flexible, be patient, and don’t be afraid to try new things—except maybe the hotpot, that’s still too intense for me!

The summer of 2017 turned out to be one of the brightest and most unforgettable experiences of my life, all thanks to the Working Holiday in Germany program! Working in the gastronomy sector, I met amazing people from all over the world and significantly improved my German. But it wasn’t just about work—traveling to Austria, the Czech Republic, and iconic German cities like Berlin, Munich, and Stuttgart made it even more special. Living in Germany for three months gave me a deep appreciation for its beauty and mystery, which has fascinated me for years.
